2. Any dangerous or hopeless venture. An arduous or nearly hopeless undertaking.

3. A paintball team established from active and former refs of black river paintball who have come together to form Forlorn Hope. a team that has become well respected on and off the feild for there exploits, personality, and sportsmanship
